The person behind the passion…

Following a 25-year career in communications, I launched BOOST in 2007 to assist local small businesses with marketing advice and hands-on help.

Drawing upon my own personal development work and my experience as co-creator and founder of Business Accelerator Mastermind for women, I reshaped BOOST in 2010.

Now, with a particular interest in helping business women, I specialize in igniting personal, career and business potential through exploring underlying passions.  My 5-step process uses The Passion Test and also includes values and life purpose.  The result is a new-found clarity that enables focused choices and decisions that are aligned with a passionate, purposeful life.

Before launching BOOST, I held career positions as the Sales & Marketing Director of Page One Publishing and the Communication Manager for the Victoria Hospitals Foundation and Travelodge Canada.  My years in advertising, sales, and magazine publishing have included Associate Publisher for Wedding Bells magazine and Account Manager for Where magazine.

Currently, I continue to do marketing communications, projects which include Custom Publishing the 68-page official program for the Victoria Highlanders FC.

My personal passions include giving back to the local community through speaking events and to the world community by being a homestay for international students, some of whom are shown in the photos.  Close to my heart is being a mentor and friend to 15-year-old Cassidy, singing in Spirit Rising Choir,and my commitment to family and friends.  Every chance I get, I continue to explore passion, purpose and potential.  My top 3 passions? Inspiring others, being mentored by masters, and experiencing joy in all I do.
