Networking Tips to Build Better Business Relationships
October 18, 2011 ~ Peninsula Business Women, Sidney

October 27, 2011 ~ Sales & Marketing Executives, Victoria
November 4, 2011 ~ YoUnlimited Conference, Sidney

Love it or hate it, networking is a fact of life. In fact, the ability to effectively network is one of the most crucial skills any entrepreneur can have.  But many people are put off by networking, thinking it requires a phony, glad-handing personality that oozes insincerity. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

I presented this entertaining and packed-with-valuable-info presentation in partnership with Pauline Penner of Simply Solutions (SimplyBusinessSolutions.ca).  We delivered tips on where to network, what to say, how to easily join or start a conversation, and why “welcome” starts with W.  This one presentation changes how you network!

Finding the Passion in Transition
November 4, 2011

I was invited by ASPECT BC to present The Passion Test at their Provincial Conference.  I spoke about transitions and how they bring us face to face with choices, and in turn, our decisions bring us face to face with our future.  Imagine a future where you are motivated and inspired, living your life from a place of passion and purpose. The essential first step is to get clear about what’s truly most meaningful to you.

Rediscovering “me”: A Passion Test Workshop
June 29, 2011

As women, we take on many roles in our life – mother, wife, sister, daughter, employee, employer, and caretaker. Often “me” takes a back seat in order to look after the needs of others. For many women, there comes a time when they want to refocus their attention to include themselves. But where to start? How do we know where to look for fulfillment? How do tap into what makes our heart sing? Uncovering what’s most meaningful and important to you is an essential first step.

It was my pleasure to present this workshop and a follow-up Vision Board workshop to Bridges for Women Society.

“Anna was very engaging and genuine.” ~ “I enjoyed your sense of humour and sincerity.” ~ “The exercises were very clear and helpful even if they challenged me to go deep.” ~ “I liked the step-by-step approach, and your energy and enthusiasm.” ~ “Anna was a very good presenter – engaging, interesting and the workshop was overall fun.”
